BEFORE I GO
Generally, domestic flights have a recommendation of approximately 2 hours and international flights’ recommendation is more like 3 hours ahead. Keep in mind that boarding is typically around 45 minutes before take-off. To feel more comfortable and less rushed, try to honor the boarding time instead of take-off time to get ahead of any possible delays or crowding in the airport. Also, pre-check-in is another option to allow for less time at the kiosks or waiting in line. Most airlines have a mobile app that will allow you to check in within 24 hours ahead and even has the ability to pay for your luggage if there are any fees, prior to airport arrival!
The expectation to tip can vary per country as well as some resorts may suggest a no-tipping policy. General rule of thumb is to follow the travel guide per country and follow their suggestions. We will help with advising what is best depending on your destination. Tipping shows a generosity of effort in providing you excellent service both for housekeeping ($5 per day) in your room and outside of the room such as at the bar, beach bar service and restaurants, drivers, bellhop etc, each $1 to $2 as a general example.
Best rule of thumb is to visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the most up to date guidelines, especially for returning into the U,S. as well as the visiting country’s guidelines. We will assist in navigating requirements for your travel.
